Using social media after the MediStar Awards

Facebook
  1. Post the Finalist/Winner button logo
  2. Post the link to the MediStar Awards website medistarawards.com
  3. Like” our statuses, comments and links about the MediStar Awards.
  4. Make a status about the MediStar and make sure to tag “Medical News” in it (you have to like our page in order to do that).
  5. Talk about your company’s involvement with MediStar whether you’ve been a sponsor, winner or just came to the event.
  6. Upload MediStar Award photos or create a MediStar album. Photos will be available the week of May 20.
  7. Complete the "Where are they now?" form on-line.  Post the article once it is written.

The MediStar Awards is the region’s premier venue for recognizing excellence in the business of healthcare.  Medical News (remember to tag us!) is celebrating the eighth annual event on May 13, 2014. (Mention why you or your company will be in attendance and what you’re looking forward to).

  1. Tweet the link to nominees and finalist page.
  2. Use the hashtag #MediStar anytime you mention the event.
    (ex. John Smith, our director, has been nominated for a #MediStar!)
  3. Mention any MediStar awards your company or one of your employees have won (it’s okay to brag a little).
  4. Spark a conversation with us about the MediStar Awards!
    (ex. @kymedicalnews What’s new about the #MediStar this year?)
  5. If you happen to have any media from MediStars past, create a link and tweet it.  One company had a video of its CEO accepting an award.  It’s just another way to show how great your company and the MediStar Awards are.
